The ST-ART Fair has partnered with Bail Art, the leader in art leasing in France since 2009, to offer businesses and professionals a tailored Lease with Option to Purchase (LOA) solution. Financial leasing enables companies to acquire artwork or furniture for the design of their workspaces, while benefiting from an advantageous financing solution.
By nature, a work of art is not depreciable from an accounting standpoint. In contrast, financial leasing provides significant tax savings for the company. The lease payments are deductible from taxable income, reducing corporate tax liabilities. At the end of the lease term, the purchase option is flexible and allows the company to acquire the artwork for a residual value.
